What zoning is required?

Billboard eligibility depends on state and local zoning regulations. Generally, land along commercial or industrial corridors — especially near highways and major roads — has the best potential. Scotty Outdoor will evaluate your specific parcel and handle the permitting research.

How close does my land need to be to a road?

Ideally your property should have frontage or visibility from a state highway, US route, or interstate. The more traffic that passes by, the more valuable the placement. We evaluate setback requirements on a site-by-site basis.

Does the size of my land matter?

A full billboard footprint typically requires a relatively small area — often just a few hundred square feet for the pole and guy-wires or concrete footing. Large acreage is not required.

What if I already have a structure or sign on the property?

Existing structures may or may not affect eligibility depending on spacing regulations. Submit your property and we'll assess it as part of our free site evaluation.
